What we collect

When you use DeepEnd Match, we collect the information needed to help you plan your project and, if you want, connect you with licensed, insured, and bonded pool builders.

We may collect:
- Contact details like your name, phone number, email address, preferred language, and property ZIP code or address
- Project details like pool type interest, yard conditions you share, timing, budget range, design preferences, and whether you want features like spas, decking, fencing, or lighting
- Messages you send us through forms, email, phone, or chat
- Basic device and website data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location from that IP

Please do not send sensitive information like Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, tax records, or government ID numbers. We do not need that to match you with builders.

How we use your information

We use your information to run the service and help you move your project forward.

1. To respond to your request. If you ask to be matched, we use your details to understand your project.
2. To connect you with builders. We may share your contact and project details with participating pool builders that serve your area so they can contact you about your project.
3. To improve the site and service. We review basic website usage to fix problems, improve forms, and make our information easier to understand.
4. To communicate with you. We may send service-related emails, texts, or calls about your request, next steps, or builder matches.
5. To protect the service. We may use information to prevent spam, fraud, abuse, or other misuse.

DeepEnd Match is not a pool builder or contractor. We do not build pools, design them, pull permits, or give construction, legal, or financial advice. Our role is to help you compare options and connect with builders through get matched.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information as a list of random leads. We share information in limited ways needed to operate the matching service.

We may share your information with:
- Participating pool builders in your service area, so they can contact you about your project
- Service providers that help us run the website, forms, communications, analytics, or customer support
- Legal or safety authorities if required by law or if needed to protect rights, safety, or the service

Participating builders pay DeepEnd Match a flat fee to receive homeowner opportunities. Matching is free to you.

Once your information is shared with a matched builder, that builder may handle your information under its own privacy practices. Before you sign anything or pay a deposit, verify the builder's license, insurance, and bond yourself, and get the price and scope in writing. Our vet a pool builder guide can help.

Your choices

You have choices about how your information is used.

• You can choose not to submit a match request
• You can ask us to update or correct your contact details
• You can ask us to stop contacting you for marketing or service follow-up, where allowed by law
• You can use browser settings to limit some cookies or tracking tools

If you no longer want to hear from a builder you were matched with, you may need to contact that builder directly too.

Keep in mind: if you ask us to delete or stop using certain information, we may not be able to continue matching you with builders or responding to an active request.

How we protect information

We use reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, such as limiting access and using standard security measures for website operations. But no website, email, text message, or online form is 100% secure.

For your own protection:
- Share only what is needed for the project
- Do not send financial account details or ID numbers
- Review contracts carefully
